ROUGE...ST. HELENA...NORTHERN LIVINGSTON...SOUTHEASTERN EAST
FELICIANA...NORTHERN TANGIPAHOA...NORTHERN EAST BATON ROUGE AND
NORTHWESTERN WASHINGTON PARISHES...SOUTHERN WALTHALL...SOUTHERN PIKE
AND SOUTHEASTERN AMITE COUNTIES...
At 950 PM CDT, radar indicated strong thunderstorms were located
along a line extending from near Kentwood to 6 miles northeast of
Pride. Movement was east at 50 mph.
Winds in excess of 30 mph are possible with these storms.
Locations impacted include...
Baton Rouge, Zachary, Baker, Denham Springs, Franklinton, Greensburg,
Amite, Walker, Amite City, Kentwood, Livingston, Independence,
Tylertown, Roseland, Albany, Slaughter, Osyka, Montpelier, Watson and
Darlington.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms, and may
cause localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
